The hub of our sporting adventure activities centres around Weavers Nest, a country guest lodge in Wakkerstroom only 2 1/2 hours from Johannesburg. A great base for our activities with comfortable rooms, cosy pub, log fires and excellent food.
Wakkerstroom is set in a beautiful grassland/wetland valley between scenic mountains and is internationally renowned for its prolific bird life and ideal terrain for our adventure sporting.
We use our airfield for paragliding ground training and kite carting, and have a track and sand quarry for pre trail Xumbug and 4 x 4 training.
Next to the airfield is a dam where we do windgliding, kite surfing and fishing. Abseiling is only a short drive away or its back to Weavers for clay pigeon shooting and archery. A 15 min drive takes us to our farm Inyoni with magnificent views - ideal for paragliding and Xumbug trailing. 40 minutes east is a fantastically beautiful volcanic crater, 17 km in diameter, which we are privileged to have access. A perfect 4 x 4 and Xumbug trail experience.
